One of the main concerns people have when looking for genuine work from home jobs is that there are so many scams out there. It seems that for every legitimate vacancy someone finds online there are two less than legitimate opportunities. Unfortunately this makes it a lot harder to find the genuine typing jobs that are available online.

The main problem is that job seekers are finding it difficult to distinguish those home based opportunities that are real and those that are not what they seem. The use of the word scam does not accurately describe every case where someone has been misled. People tend to thing something is a scam if it is misleading or turns out not to be what they thought it was. A real scam would be described as something where you pay your money and get little or nothing in return.
Unfortunately it is very difficult to tell if something is genuine work from home typing job. With experience and if you spend enough time researching many of the offers that you see advertised that promise unrealistic earnings for relatively little effort you eventually develop a six sense for these sort of things. Most of the time however you do not find out that you have been had until it's too late.
The only golden rule that works a hundred percent of the time is to treat any job or opportunity that involves requires you to pay for a work from home typing job as suspect. If you don't pay out any money you can't lose it.
Before you start your search you should make sure that your c.v. is up to date if you are applying directly to employers. It is important to make a good impression and have a digital copy of your c.v. that can be emailed to a potential employer. For online and internet based work you are unlikely to ever meet your employer face to face but you may have to do a telephone interview. Employers find that they can get a better feel for a person if they speak to them. Skype is also becoming more popular as a business to business communication method. Essentially it allows people to do free video conferencing over the internet.
You can take a look at the type of home based job listings that are available online. There are now several specialist work from home job listing sites that list vacancies from employers that allow you to work from home. There are some good sites that I can recommend in my previous article about finding data entry jobs from home, so go take a look.
I found when researching job listing sites that not all of the jobs listed were genuine, the sites I recommend in the data entry article I just mentioned had the best vetted list of genuine jobs. I was surprised to find that the biggest well know job listing sites on the internet had quite a lot of less than legitimate listings. I put this down to the fact that these sites get thousands of new listings a day and they cannot vet every single one to weed out the fake jobs.
When considering any vacancy you should always do some research on the potential employer. You want to be able to confirm that they are a real company and that they are offering a genuine position that does not require you to make any payments to them. Never pay any money for what you believe to be a job offer.
You can keep your typing skills polished, keep yourself in a work routine and earn some extra money whilst looking for typing work by doing surveys. It's a great way you earn some extra money and keep in practice whilst searching through the job listings. It's not going to earn you a living but will bring some pocket money in to cover cost or to help with bills. A couple of good earners I recommend can be found here and here.
This is the best free survey site I have found, it pays between £1 to £5 for most surveys but can pay up to £50 if you complete a specialist survey.Click Here Now To Join
