Essentially this means that the computer is secure and protected and that you have a back-up system in place. This is to reduce the risk of you losing your work should your computer go wrong.

Viruses are a very real risk to people depending on their computers to be able to do their work. To this end you need to ensure that you have anti-virus software installed and you understand how it works. You also need to make sure that you have a back-up in place. A back-up essentially means that you copy all of your import work documents so that they are safely stored separately away from your computer.
